sipping champange

When I was young I didn't mind the dentist although i never had to have my teeth drilled, that had a lot to do with being content with someone tinkering around in my mouth.
I neglected my teeth for about two years and I just recently went back...low and behold a cavity!
I got really freaked out they whipped out this sci fi looking needle (with the finger holes and all) and stuck it into my gums......queezy.....
I found the whole experience to be very intrusive, at one point some metal thing fell off of my tooth and onto my tongue. I quickly served it back to her like it was a champange glass on a platter. At that point i was ready to go....
I think i will start flossing.

Me Strumming Posted by Hello

Opening Entry

Welcome to my very own blog. I always thought these things were silly but here I am entering the blogging commuinity. I am not sure why I created a blog and who knows if I will even keep up with it. I keep feeling like i should have something overtly prophetic to say but right now I am don't. I am hoping i can find out where I can start a profile or somthing. Still figuring out how to work things.
10 minutes later.....

So I found out how to actually publish this thing... so I guess I will start with a little bit about myself.
I am 23 and live in Easthampton, MA with my silly, fun, and intersting parter (soon to be husband) Ron. (he might not like the idea of a blog.. he likes privacy but so I won't tell everyone how he likes to lie fetal position on the floor with headphones on and listen to his beloved music)
I work with children (toddlers to be specific so15months to 2 and a halfish) at a childcare center in the area.
I do, for all you people out there, consider myself a teacher even though alot of people like to call it DAYcare! it is far more then changing diapers and feeding children. I love children and not just because they are cute and cuddley (please)... they are far more interesting then most adutls give them credit for. And, unfortunalty I have recently found that child development is my calling ( i suppose i was fighing it for along time) as the money is not , let's say, the best.

I do have other interests then chidlren and are as follows......
I am learing to play the guitar something i never thought i would embark on but has turned out to be fun and I still can't believe i can make music wtih my hands (and have it sound good too)
I too, love music and Ron and I collect as MUCH as we can I suppose we are music snobs...
I read like crazy and enjoy pretty much anything except science fiction
I like people who think for themselves and have some sense of politics as I am extremly left leaning... so all you rebulicans beware you are reading about a woman who is confident and can think for herself....scary right.
I can't believe this has started out positive.... I thought i would take the time to wrtie about all of my
frustrations (especially after this election) but i guess i am in a good mood. you will see in time.
Cheers to all and have fun reading future posts!
