Today it's just me, ron, and our enormous cat. Enjoy the day however you're spending it!

my friend mike

Little Squirrel by Mike
Mike is good friend from college and probably one of the smartest people I know, and I know some pretty smart people. He also takes some pretty sweet photos and always has a crazy story about a turtle that can bite your hand off or something, so check him out.

sigh... but in a good way.

I am still here and in somewhat better spirits. I don't think I'll be posting much for the next few weeks I'll be holed up in my little carrel(a 6'x5' closet really) at the library, but it's all good.
It is officially winter here, but I was happy to break out my newly knitted hat. A promise was made to make mittens and arm warmers for myself and a hat for Ron. The past two nights felt like snow, but alas none fell. But when the first snow falls I will be sure to take a photo of it. The photo above is an old one taken while hiding away on Martha's Vineyard I haven't shared it yet and since my camera along with my sewing machine is collecting dust, this will have to do.
Cheers!

a big sigh

Things around this way have been pressing. I am over worked and stressed out - Ron the same. It seems like a never ending cycle of work, read, eat, sleep. I feel like I haven't taken a breath or had a real nights sleep in a while. All of this piles up because I forget to take a moment to pause and appreciate that moment in itself. So here is hoping that I can indeed to do that and take some time to appreciate all of the good things in life.

Four Years
Tomorrow is my four year blogversary. Times goes by fast.
So, in celebration some old blog posts:
The introduction of Marvin.... does he actually look smaller?
And, a mini vacation Ron and I took a month before we got married.
Speaking of vacations, we are due to go on full size vacation to celebrate when we graduate (both of us at the same time!). Any suggestions?
